Coach Josh has nearly 20 years of baseball experience - excelling in high school and college ball, then making it all the way to the Dominican League. He has traveled and played in various places around the world including Canada, the Dominican Republic, and all along the Eastern Seaboard. As a result, Coach Josh is uniquely qualified as a PS2 Instructor and brings some incredible training techniques to our athletes. He maintains a strong connection with the Dominican Republic, frequently visiting and training there, and brings all that knowledge back to our PS2 Athletes.
Darren FensterMLB Consultant
2018 marks Darren Fenster's 7th year with the Red Sox, his 6th as manager in the organization leading the Greenville Drive, Boston's Class A Affiliate. He was named South Atlantic League manager of the year after guiding The Drive to the first league championship in franchise history. Prior to joining the Red Sox, he spent 6 seasons on the Rutgers University Staff working under Fred Hill. As a player, he was Big East Player of the Year at Rutgers and was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 12th round of the 2000 draft. He spent 5 seasons in the Royals Organization before suffering a career-ending knee injury.
Kervin RiveraPS2 Academy Coach/Trainer
Coach Kervin was a high school standout at PCTI where he played in 3 Passaic County championships, winning in 2004. He went on to play two years of college ball at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon. He also attended Seton Hall and Peru State College in Nebraska. Kervin started his coaching career in 2015, taking his Passaic Tigers team to a runner up finish in the American Legion District 2 tournament and his 18u Passaic team all the way to the regional championships. He has also coached at DePaul Catholic HS in Wayne. Kervin is currently assisting special needs students at Martin Luther King School No. 6 in Passaic and is the Assistant Varsity Coach at Passaic HS. His mission can be summed up by a quote from his favorite baseball player, Roberto Clemente: "Any time you have an opportunity to make a difference in this world and you don't, then you are wasting your time on Earth."

Mental Skills Coordinator
Coach Hodson has been a long time baseball coach and instructor in the NY/NJ area. Coach Hodson's area of focus has not only been on private and group instruction but also managing club teams and programs ranging from 8U-18U. Coach John also has experience in the college recruitment process. Coach Hodson's most recent endeavor is a mental conditioning company called Win The Grind, where the focus is on consulting teams, coaches and individual players on developing the proper mental framework for peak performance. He also serves as an adjunct instructor and curriculum advisor for CiSDA (Career in Sports Development Academy). Coach Hodson holds an undergraduate Marketing Degree from Kean University and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Coach John is also seeking a Master's Degree in Performance Psychology and is an active member of the AASP (Association for Applied Sports Psychology).
Tom BurnsPS2 Pitching Instructor
Tom Burns is a New Jersey native who was drafted by both the Milwaukee Brewers in 2012 and the Seattle Mariners in 2013 after spending a season at Howard Jr. College in Big Spring, TX. Tom attended Don Bosco Prep High School in Ramsey, NJ where he and his teammates won back to back Bergen County Titles in 2011 and 2012. He received the Most Valuable Pitcher award in both years and was selected 1st Team All State with a 9-2 record and a 0.75 ERA. Tom also played for the Midland Redskins, an amateur organization in Ohio.
Willie KrajnikPS2 Academy Coach
Pitching Coach, Marist HS
Coach Willie was a four year varsity player at Saint Mary High School in Rutherford where he excelled as a pitcher. He was 1st Team All Conference his Sophomore, Junior and Senior years and 2nd Team All County his Junior and Senior years. He went on to play D1 baseball at Saint Peter’s University where he was named MAAC pitcher of the week, MAAC Pepsi Male Student-Athlete of the week and All-MAAC Second Team.
Steven ProsciaRecruiting Coordinator
Coach Steven brings an extensive array of skills and experience to the PS2 organization. A graduate of Don Bosco High School, he was a Freshman All-American in 2008 at the University of Virginia and played in 2 college world series (2009 and 2011). His UVA team won 2 ACC Titles those same years and Coach Steven was the MVP of the ACC Tournament in 2011. He racked up some impressive stats at UVA including 7th in career hits (254), 6th in career at bats (788), 6th in career home runs (28), 2nd in career total bases (411), 2nd in career doubles (59), and 1st in career RBIs (182). Coach Steven was a 7th round draft pick by the Seattle Mariners and was the MVP in 2012 for the High Desert Mavericks before he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Anthony RiveraPS2 Academy Coach
Coach Anthony was a Belleville High School stand-out athlete who holds achievements such as All County 1st Team, and 2nd Team All Conference. Excelling in high school ball, Coach Anthony took his abilities to the collegiate level, playing for Union College where he further developed his skills under Coach Jon Lewis, the Queens College Pitching Instructor. Anthony brings his 10+ years of baseball experience to PS2, helping to further develop the up and coming athletes in the program.
Daniel LopezHitting Instructor
Coach Daniel, a native of the Dominican Republic, was drafted by the New York Yankees Organization at the age of 17 and played in Affiliate Baseball for 7 years as part of the Staten Island Yankees. Coach Daniel started his career in the Dominican Republic at the age of 12 and brings advanced training techniques to PS2 Baseball - the ones he learned from playing at one of the highest levels in the game.
